A pole-integrated EV charger is built into a street-light or lamp pole rather than installed as a separate pillar or wall-box. Because the pole already brings a power feed to the kerb, the charger can use it directly, avoiding new civil works and keeping the street uncluttered.
Charging power is usually lower than a DC fast charger — typically AC 3.7–22 kW — which suits long-dwell parking: residential streets, courtyards and office car parks where a car stays for hours.
Shenzhen TDT‘s pole-integrated AC chargers are designed to embed into the pole structure, support OCPP 1.6J for back-end integration, and offer Wi-Fi, Ethernet, RFID and optional 4G connectivity.
